Together we can enrich the lives of families facing autism
Our team is proud to welcome families across our centers in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties — creating spaces of understanding, care, and community.
Inspired by my son Alex, our mission is to bring hope and support to children with autism in Armenia and Lebanon. We work to raise awareness and provide access to essential therapies, treatments, and resources—helping every child grow, learn, and be understood.
Together, we can create a world where every child with autism is seen, supported, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
At Walking with Alex, our dedicated team of compassionate staff and volunteers works tirelessly to support individuals with Autism and their families. Through educational programs, emotional support, and in-kind services, we strive to make everyday life a little easier for those we serve.
In 2014, Carol Ghanem founded what is now known as Walking with Alex, driven by a heartfelt mission to support individuals with Autism and their families. Motivated by personal experience and a clear need for greater community resources, she devoted herself to creating inclusive, nurturing spaces. Today, her vision continues through Walking with Alex Centers across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties — serving as beacons of care, understanding, and hope.
